Gopal Raja (founder / president)
Gopal Raja, Ideation’s founder and president, holds a B.Tech. in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India, and an M.S. in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As an experienced information technology professional, Mr. Raja has worked with clients in both private industry and the federal government, managing projects ranging in size from several thousand to several million dollars. Before launching Ideation in 2000, he served as Director of Software Engineering, Solutions Development Team Leader and Chief Technology Officer for private companies. He has recruited and managed numerous technology teams, supervised the day-to-day operations of engineering and software development groups, and worked with corporate clients and federal agencies to optimize their technological and organizational capacity. Mr. Raja holds two U.S. patents for innovations in information technology.
